On 10th September, Founder of Educate2Eradicate Arifa Nasim was invited to speak at the Charity Begins at Home event put together by the young people of the Hemraj Goyal Foundation.
The aim of the event was to inspire young people to engage in charitable giving. Alongside Hibo Wardere, an FGM survivor, Arifa spoke about the origins of Educate2Eradicate and how young people can truly make a difference.
The speeches were followed by a three course vegetarian meal, prepared by chef Brian Lane, and other young people coming forward to discuss their acts of charitable giving.
The evening ended with each young person making a charitable pledge and receiving a memento to remind them of their pledge.
Below is a video put together by the HGF documenting the highlights of their event!
